AMBRA VERNUCCIO
Photographer and Creative Visual Artist
I am currently working as a creative commercial photographer in a number of areas, including fashion, music, theatre and film photography.
Throughout my time working as a freelance photographer, I have shot commercials, portraits and events for clients such as L'Oreal, Unilever, IdeasTap, Secret Cinema, National Youth Theatre, SkyArts and Sadlers Wells.
My main interest lies in documentary and portrait photography. Since 2009, I have been travelling around the world focusing on documenting street life in different countries.
I have recently been selected as a winner of the Hoppe Street Portraits competition at the National Portrait Gallery. My work from the series "Nairobi: Face to Face" was selected as part of the Foto8 - Summershow 2011 at the Host Gallery in London.
My images have been featured on a variety of publications, such as the Guardian, L’Espresso, The Londonist, LondoDance, Fused, Rough, Arise, African Digital Art and Ribbed magazine.
